Listen, we’re not going to begrudge anyone their creativity or pluck. This guy is a reporter for a local Fox station in Cleveland. Bad enough, right? But then his bosses say, “Hey, go do a story on the bear.” “What bear?” “Exactly!” It’s like a test. It’s the Kobayashi Maru of local bear stories. How do you visually report on a bear that isn’t there, and, if we’re being honest here, may exist purely in the imaginations of a few lonely Cleveland residents? Go to Kinko’s for bear photo blow-ups, then hit costume shop for bunny suits, that’s how. Kirk out!
Actually, you know what? We’re completely on board with this now. Fox 8’s Todd Meany, we see on your bio you’d like to be a game show host, but we think you should be boss of the news. At least you’ve never made a little kid cry.
