Michael and Michael Have Issues stars Michael Ian Black and Michael Showalter as the stars of a TV sketch show. It’s really about their troubled relationship, but there will be actual sketches scattered throughout the show. Yes, actual sketches like “The Farting Butterfly,” embedded below. You don’t get much more smart-dumb than “The Farting Butterfly.”
This show looks great–we like the meta show-within-a-show aspect, and we love The State alumni Showalter and Black. Mainly we love the hilarious portrayal of a longtime creative relationship. It can be tough– ask any collaborative partners, from Gosselin and Gosselin to Rooney and fruit.
