5 Best ‘Lost’ Clips From Comic-Con

We’ve shown you Jimmy Fallon at Comic-Con, where he accosted Lost showrunners Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindeloff and pitched him his new superhero, The Recharger. They rebuffed him politely, but honestly, The Recharger is no more or less ridiculous than some of the clips they showed at Saturday’s Lost panel at Comic-Con. And when we say ridiculous, we mean awesome. Here are the 5 Best ‘Lost’ Clips From Comic-Con. Yes, we are Lost nerds. If you don’t care about Lost, you can probably stop reading now. Also? Eff you.

5. Paul Scheer’s Polar Bear Painting
Comedian Paul Scheer “crashed” the Lost Panel and presented Cuse and Lindelof with a beautiful painting of the show runners posing with ABC’s most famous and mysterious polar bear. Scheer has even set up his own Lost website, called, appropriately enough, damoncarltonandapolarbear.com.

4. Oceanic Airlines: A Perfect Safety Record For 30 Years
Jes’ a li’l ironic joshin’ ‘n’ speculatin’ on what might have been? Or a taste of what lies in store for the final season? Also, Australian women are hot.

3. Mysteries of the Universe: The Dharma Initiative
This is funny in the sense that it’s funny we’re nerds enough to love this shizz. Also funny in the sense that the Lost folks worked for four months on their Comic-Con presentation. But funny in a non-pathetic way? Not so much.

2. Kate Austin On America’s Most Wanted
Mmmm. We can smell the nerd sweat from here. Delicious!

1. Hurley’s Mr. Cluck Commercial

No offense to Hurley, who we love dearly, but he is not the most appetizing presence for a food-hawking commercial. Hair, sweat, and girth will not get us in the door of your fast food joint. Bad Australian accents, though…
