The 10 Best TV Principals of All Time

Readers, report to the Principal’s Office, at once!

TV Land has had a lot of shows about school, and who’s the antagonist at every school? That’s right, the principal. There have been some great ones throughout the years. And, by great, we mean awful.

We’ve collected the meanest, the bitchiest, and the funniest principals around for the 10 Best TV Principals of All Time.

10. Principal Victoria, South Park
Oddly enough, Principal Victoria just might be the sanest adult in all of South Park.

9. Vice Principal/Principal Clemmons, Veronica Mars
The old good principal/bad principal routine. Clemmons never trusted Veronica, but every time a case needed cracked, to the Principal’s office with you, Miss Mars.

8. Principal Raditch, Degrassi: The Next Generation
The very epitome of the hard ass principal, Raditch was probably the closest to reality.

7. The Principal’s Office – “Dirty Dancing” episode
Few people in this world could sit through this routine without cracking up, and they are all real-life principals.

6. Principal Lazarus, Welcome Back Kotter
Lazarus likely had shooting targets shaped like Sweathogs. When Kotter became principal, this show officially jumped the shark.

5. Grace Musso, Parker Lewis Can’t Lose
Remember this show? Hell yes, we do. Grace Musso was the hottest, bitchiest principal who ever lived. She makes us want to serve, uh, detention.

4. Principal Snyder, Buffy the Vampire Slayer
It’s impossible to be the most evil guy around, when your school sits on top of a Hell Mouth. Snyder makes the list for being eaten by a giant snake/mayor monster.

3. Principal Blackman, Strangers With Candy
He’s the only principal on the list younger than his student!

2. Principal Belding, Saved By the Bell
Belding was the best kind of principal. The principal who desperately wants to be cool, but is really just a tool.

1. Principal Skinner, The Simpsons
Could it really be anyone else? Seymour Skinner. Bart’s nemesis, still lives with his mother. He’s every principal we’ve ever had, all rolled into one.
