While you’re at it, Mr. President, “Andy Richter Controls The Universe” was also pretty good. You could air them back-to-back hopefully in Glenn Beck’s time slot.
On the other hand: Is this what you want? Socialized Television? What is this, Russia? You know what they air in Russia? The highest rated show is a three hour video of a lonely loaf of bread on a Siberian store shelf. It’s called “Watch This Bread Or Here Come The Death Panels.” You really want the government deciding what shows live and what shows die? You know “30 Rock” will be the first one killed by some brainless government bureaucrat. You think Obama has great taste in television? The man watches “Entourage” and ESPN. Welcome to the United States of Frat-merica. And what happens the next time a Republican is elected? Get ready for 500 channels of Michael Landon, with occasional “24″ breaks. Free market! Nielsens! WE SURROUND YOU!
