Patricia Heaton of “Everybody Loves Raymond” fame is having a string of rotten luck. First, the Comic-Con panel promoting her fall sitcom “The Middle” was so poorly attended, Warner execs told her not to bother showing up minutes before she was scheduled to appear. Then yesterday, she’s sued by a former employee claiming Heaton stiffed her on over $7000 in back wages. Then last night, Heaton goes on “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” for charity, and after bashing the coasts and praising folks from Middle America (like her) as “smarter, goes on to demonstrate her sub-retarded-goat-level math skills. The only thing that saves her is Regis’ hand-holding because Regis hates unhappy endings.
