There’s one crucial element to junk TV we here at Comedy.com have nearly neglected to honor: the hot tub. That glorious melting pot of jealousy, desperation and nasty bodily fluids, the hot tub has helped us enjoy the weakest sitcom plots, the worst films and the skankiest reality shows. Thus in honor of crappy TV, here are the 10 Funniest TV Moments in Hot Tubs.
10. “The OC”
Seth tries to play cool guy in the hot tub, and gets teased by the girls. Of course he has to call Ryan to help him look cool. Look, if Seth were really a nerd, he’d never have gotten the girls there in the first place.
9. “How I Met Your Mother”
Lesson: if you are in a hot tub with a slutty Mandy Moore, and she just gave you permission to play with her boobs, you take the opportunity without hesitation!
8. “My Name Is Earl”
Hot Tub Overuse is a serious condition among many hicks.
7. “Moment by Moment” (TV Edit)
Who wants to see Lily Tomlin ask John Travolta to smoke pot with her while in a hot tub? Also, did your head just explode? Ours did.

Mad TV’s once-popular crotchety old lady character, Lorraine, joins a young sexy couple in a hot tub. This should end fine, we’re sure.

That’s right, “Drawn Together” had an entire episode revolving around a hot tub. Obviously our favorite part is the Foxxy Love and Princess Clara lesbian kiss with the song, “This Black Chick’s Tongue.”
3. Playboy Channel PSA
This may not take place in a hot tub, but it is hilarious enough to include in this list for one reason: The Playboy Channel has its own hot chick “Mythbuster” whose job is to teach us a Hot Tub Lesson. Hot tubs do not kill sperm. Did you know that?
2. “Nip/Tuck”
Imagine having a romantic time in the hot tub, when you realize your sweetie has had too many laxatives. We assume this happens to starlets all the time and we never hear about it.
1. “ElimiDate”
Now for the classic “Elimidate” moment that could have inspired the “Nip/Tuck” scene. Think about if you were a lady in a hot tub full of other ladies, all competing for the venereal disease of one man. Naturally, you have to tell the other hoes to back off with a bowel movement.
