10 Funniest TV Show Bloopers

Wednesday September 16, 2009 5:00 AM

It’s hard to believe our favorite actors aren’t perfect, huh? You’d like to think they show up with their lines memorized and film the show straight through. Obviously that’s not true, and we have the videos to prove it.

One of our favorite things to do with our DVD box sets is to watch the outtakes. We’ve searched through and found the 10 best. Here are the 10 Funniest Television Show Bloopers. Don’t pee yourself.

10. “House”
When you’re Hugh Laurie, and you’re multitasking while acting (fake limping, fake American accent), you’re bound to make a few mistakes. Who knew there would be this many?

9. “Lost”
We don’t get what’s funny. They must be putting in mad hours on this show.

8. “M*A*S*H”
A show that lasted three times longer than the actually war it reproduced is bound to have a ton of outtakes.

7. “Seinfeld”
It’s a bunch of bloopers about nothing. The entire cast has mentioned many times how difficult it was to get through a scene without Jerry Seinfeld laughing, but it looks as if they had just as much trouble themselves.

6. “Little House On The Prairie
Not only was Charles Ingalls a good man, he was a very funny man. The long running drama about our favorite mountain family popped out some pretty hilarious bloopers. We also discovered Carolyn Engalls can really churn some butter.

5. “Star Trek TNG
The future is so bright I’ve got to wear visors. The bridge is more like a locker room where the dirty jokes flow. Patrick Stewart is a God.

4. “Dick Van Dyke Show
He was a founding father for comedy television. Be careful. Don’t mess up around him, when you’re carrying something sharp.

3. “The Carol Burnett Show
We firmly believe it was each actor’s goal to mess the other up on set. We don’t know how anyone could act while making eye contact with Tim Conway. That should get anyone an Emmy for sure.

2. “Star Trek TOS
Boldly taking outtakes where no TV show has gone before. The quality is low, but the funny is high.

1. “Arrested Development
There isn’t a night when we don’t cry ourselves to sleep over the cancellation of this show. One of the greatest shows ever made has no choice but to have the best outtakes. We love you Ron Howard! Steve Holt!
