After several years off the air, classic game show “Let’s Make A Deal” has returned to the TV airwaves, with Wayne Brady bringing his improvised singing sensibilities to the show as the new host. New host, but same crazy costumes required for you to become a contestant and choose between cash and prizes or what’s behind doors #1, 2 or 3! In case you don’t remember exactly what made “Let’s Make A Deal” a must-watch show for your parents and grandparents (because even the official “Let’s Make A Deal” website is stuck in olden times!), we’re here to help. This clips are almost as wild as the 5 Most Bizarre Videos Form The Japanese Game Show “Gaki” and these 10 Funniest TV Show Bloopers.
10. Your First Chance At Cash
But first, of course, Monty Hall has this luxurious item for you behind the curtain. YouTube already tells you what it is: It’s a brand-new car!!! It’s a car of the future, if the future was now, and then was 1974. Um…What’s a Bricklin??? And did the DeLorean hit 88 mph and go back in time to steal the idea for the Bricklin so no one in 2009 would ever know that such a vehicle ever existed? Watch and discuss!
9. Behind Door #1
Would you like to watch what’s behind Door #1, instead? This lady already saw the first video, apparently, because she’s awfully excited to make the deal. Should she make the deal? She probably stopped making deals after she saw this video over and over on YouTube 35 years later.
8. Behind Door #2
How about the second lady in that clip above? She wasn’t going to be tricked into falling for no stereotype and trading her handbag for anything hiding behind a box of chicken. Oh, no. But she could be talked into going for what was behind Door #2!
But why watch clips with a bunch of nobodies acting silly when we had professional somebodies acting professional on the TV? That’s what happened when TV’s “Odd Couple” — Felix and Oscar, aka Tony Randall and Jack Klugman — dropped in on the game show. Spoiler alert: They both make asses out of themselves!
7. Monty Hall Picks On Dirty Santa
And for something really awkward, here is a clip in which Monty Hall picks on Santa and is so naughty that I bet he got coal in his stocking every year until he died. Which means he’s still getting coal, because he’s still around, probably tuning into the new program today and cursing at the screen. Then again, he did seem to lay it on thick with the fat jokes on that poor Santa, didn’t he?
6. Bob Hilton Hosts
Almost no one remembers when Bob Hilton hosted the show. This revival hit the airwaves around around 1990. As you can see, the contestants were just as dumb then as they are now.
5. The $3000 Super Deal
He, $3000 was A LOT back then. In fact, it could buy a house with wheels in some part of the country. Stay tuned to parts 2, and 4 to find out who won the SUPER DEAL.
4. Newlywed Couple Gets “Foiled”
I apologize for the pun. In this clip a random woman and this couple get aluminum foil and a patio set. I don’t get it. They’re more excited about the Reynolds Wrap than that sweet lounge chair. Someone please explain in the comments below.
3. “I Want The Car!”
This is one of the highest viewed “Let’s Make A Deal” videos on YouTube. It’s so great. I think she cries.
2. World’s Worst Players
These new players, have either not caught on to the game, or just have the worst luck in history. It’s a great way to launch the new iteration of the show.
1. The Banana Has a Bad Day
This dancing banana is tempted, not once, not twice, but three times by new host Wayne Brady.
